VTA eGrille Hook up Retainer
The VTA eGrille has a sacrficial part. This is in the unfortunate event when the hookup lead wire is pulled via tripping or driving away with it still connected.
This item is to aid in the prevention of the bonded egrille from being broken if such an event occures.
You should be able to gain access to the 3 screws without removing the entire grille from the vehicle.
You will need to retain your existing screws and cable grommet for reinstallation.

- Cross head screwdriver

Installation Type
Complete Kit, Self install. Requires fabrication of original OEM grille
Installation Time
Approx 10 mins top grille disassembly.
Approx 10 mins to remove and disconnect existing retainer
Approx 15 mins to remount and wire new retainer and refix top part of grille.
Skill Difficulty
Basic.
Requires removing top part of grille and 240v wiring knowledge
